Recently, BYD signed a framework agreement with Deutsche Bahn (DB), Germany's largest public transport operator, for 200 pure electric buses. This is another international recognition following major overseas orders such as 210 units in Singapore (Asia-Pacific), 268 units in Belgium (Europe), and 194 units in Brazil (Americas). As a country with a highly developed automotive industry, Germany has world-leading technical standards and environmental requirements in the transportation field. As the largest bus operator in the region, DB's cooperation is a key measure to promote its zero-emission bus procurement plan and implement carbon reduction.

The two parties have a solid foundation for cooperation. The 54 BYD electric buses delivered earlier have been operating stably in Frankfurt, Schleswig-Holstein and other places, providing local residents with convenient and comfortable green travel experiences with their outstanding advantages of long range, high passenger capacity, and low whole-life cycle cost. The four models signed this time — BYD B12.b, B12.b LE, B13.b, and B15 — can flexibly meet the operational needs from urban commuting to intercity passenger transport. Among them, the new-generation models B12.b and B12.b LE are both equipped with self-developed Blade Battery and CTC (Cell to Chassis) integrated battery-chassis technology, improving safety, energy efficiency, and durability while optimizing the interior space.
