Starting from €45,990!ZEEKR 7GT Makes Its Debut in Europe,Shaking Up the Shooting Brake Market
As 2026 kicks off, another Chinese new energy vehicle has officially entered the European market — promising ultra-fast charging, long range, and a powerful 0-100 km/h acceleration of just 2.95 seconds, sure to excite car enthusiasts across the continent.
On January 15, 2026, Chinese NEV brand Zeekr officially announced the launch of its shooting brake model ZEEKR 7GT (domestically named Zeekr 007GT) in Europe. The first batch covers six core markets: Sweden, the Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, and Germany, with order channels opening simultaneously and deliveries expected to start in July 2026. Zeekr is a new sub-brand under the giant Geely Holding Group, which also owns renowned marques such as Volvo, Polestar, smart, and Lotus.

ZEEKR 7GT adopts a tiered pricing strategy to cater to diverse consumer groups. Based on the Dutch market, three configurations are available: the entry-level price starts at €45,990, while the top-of-the-line Privilege AWD version is priced at €57,490, equivalent to an RMB range of approximately 374,000 to 467,000 yuan. In Germany, the starting price is slightly higher: the RWD entry-level version costs €47,990, the Long-Range RWD version €50,990, and the AWD Launch Edition €57,490.

This pricing strategy precisely targets Europe’s premium all-electric shooting brake market, offering a distinct price advantage over competitors. For example, compared to the 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA Electric (CLA 250+ EQ Technology Edition starting at $47,250, approximately €44,300, but with a WLTP range of only about 450 km), ZEEKR 7GT is competitive in terms of range, power, and configuration.
Localization is one of ZEEKR 7GT’s key strengths in entering the European market. Built on the PMA 2+ platform co-developed by Geely and Volvo, the model comes standard with an 800V high-voltage architecture, offering two battery options: 75kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) and 100kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC). The RWD version delivers a maximum power of 310kW, while the AWD variant boasts a peak power of 475kW and torque of 710N·m, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.95 seconds.

The Long-Range version achieves a maximum WLTP range of 655 km, significantly outperforming the average level of competitors in the same price segment. For charging efficiency, the model supports up to 480kW DC fast charging — the 75kWh battery can charge from 10% to 80% in 13 minutes, and the 100kWh version takes only 16 minutes. It also supports 22kW AC charging, compatible with Europe’s mainstream charging network, effectively alleviating range anxiety for long-distance travel.

The chassis tuning and functional configurations are deeply adapted to European road conditions and usage habits. It comes standard with front double wishbone + rear five-link suspension; some versions are equipped with air suspension and CCD electromagnetic damping system, supporting 5-level height adjustment, balancing precise handling and comfort to suit Europe’s mountainous and winding roads. Targeting Europe’s snowy winters, the model offers five driving modes including Snow and Sport. Additional features such as camping-specific settings, ski storage compartments, and a 1,600kg towing capacity meet diverse needs such as urban commuting, long-distance self-driving, and outdoor adventures.

In terms of intelligence, a 35.5-inch Augmented Reality Head-Up Display (AR-HUD) and 13-inch instrument cluster enable collaborative interaction. Powered by the Qualcomm 8295 chip and Zeekr Horizon H7 intelligent driving solution, the model comes standard with lidar and dual Orin-X chips, supporting practical functions such as mapless urban NZP (Navigation with Zero Pilot) and fingerprint parking. In terms of safety, the reinforced body structure and optimized automatic emergency braking (AEB) system for cyclists fully comply with Europe’s Euro NCAP five-star safety rating.

Based on European consumers’ usage needs and budget preferences, here’s a guide to choosing the three ZEEKR 7GT configurations:
1. Urban Commuters: Prioritize the entry-level RWD version (€45,990 in the Netherlands / €47,990 in Germany). The 310kW maximum power meets urban overtaking and acceleration needs, and the 75kWh battery supports weekly charging for daily commutes. The entry-level version already covers basic safety and comfort features. With Zeekr’s direct sales service network in Europe (the Stockholm, Sweden flagship store is operational, and the Amsterdam, Netherlands store is set to open) and financial support policies, the purchase threshold is further reduced.
2. Long-Distance Travel Enthusiasts: Recommend the Long-Range RWD version (€49,490 in the Netherlands / €50,990 in Germany). The 655km WLTP range is its core advantage, covering cross-border self-driving needs in Europe and reducing mid-journey charging stops. Compatibility with 22kW AC charging makes it suitable for consumers without fixed home chargers. The RWD version’s smooth driving experience and better energy efficiency also make long-distance cruising more economical.
3. Performance & All-Round Experience Seekers: The top-of-the-line Privilege AWD version (€57,490) is the best choice. With 475kW power and 710N·m torque, it delivers extreme performance; the AWD system enhances adaptability to complex road conditions, while air suspension and full intelligent driving configurations further improve the user experience. Compared to luxury brand models with similar configurations (e.g., the BMW i5 Touring AWD version starting at over €60,000), this version offers obvious advantages in price-configuring balance, suitable for high-end consumers pursuing driving pleasure and all-round practicality.

A comprehensive after-sales system supports ZEEKR 7GT’s market expansion. Zeekr has partnered with Europe’s G.A.S. workshop network to build an after-sales network covering the six initial markets. Additionally, addressing core concerns such as battery degradation, it offers free inspection and replacement services.
From a market strategy perspective, with the addition of ZEEKR 7GT, Zeekr has formed a product lineup in Europe including the 7X, ZEEKR X, 001, and 7GT, covering compact to mid-to-large size models and from SUVs to shooting brakes. This clustered layout helps enhance the brand’s visibility and competitiveness in Europe. For Europe’s premium all-electric shooting brake market, ZEEKR 7GT’s entry not only brings new choices but also its localized product strategy and highly competitive pricing are expected to reshape the niche market landscape.
