Great Wall Motors Teases New Brand, First Model Boasts Classic Retro Design
Recently, Li Fei, Chief Engineer of Great Wall Motors' Drive-by-Wire Chassis, posted a set of new car pictures on social media with the caption: "Haval, WEY, Tank, ORA, Great Wall Pickup... None match. Is Great Wall's 6th brand coming?" From the released images, the new car's design style is significantly different from Great Wall's existing brands, adopting a classic vintage car look with a standing emblem.

Li Fei also gave a brief preview of the new car in the post, stating that its exterior silhouette forms a distinct contrast with Great Wall's five existing brands. It neither follows Haval's mass-market SUV route nor Tank's rugged off-road style; it differs from WEY's tech-luxury orientation, ORA's trendy electric positioning, and Great Wall Pickup's pickup truck temperament. This is clearly not a simple product line supplement but rather a "new product" from an entirely new product sequence. When a car cannot be defined by any existing brand, the most reasonable explanation is that Great Wall may be launching a new brand.
Although only partial details of the new car have been exposed, its overall shape draws on classic foreign vintage cars, with a large-sized waterfall grille, rounded headlights, and a distinctive rear design. Notably, the conventional logo position is replaced by a long string of letter logos, and the front face is equipped with a prominent large standing emblem.
