In June, the refreshed ZEEKR 001 claimed the Guinness World Record for the greatest altitude difference travelled by an electric vehicle on a single route, with a total elevation gap of 5,982.771 meters. This marks the seventh Guinness title for the ZEEKR 001, earning it the nickname "seven-time Guinness champion". Taking on such an extreme cross-country challenge is itself a statement of confidence in vehicle reliability — traversing thousands of meters of elevation change puts batteries, chassis and body structure through a rigorous real-world trial that few production vehicles can pass.

The journey started at Ayding Lake in Xinjiang, the lowest point in inland China, and ended at Laqiong La Pass in Tibet, the world’s highest highway pass, covering over 5,400 kilometers. Along the way, the vehicle withstood an 80℃ temperature swing, hundreds of kilometers of uninhabited terrain and harsh high-altitude conditions.
