Horizon HSD V2.0 Redefines End-to-End ADAS With World Model Upgrade
On June 29, Horizon Robotics officially launched version 2.0 of its HSD full-scenario driver assistance system, the largest OTA update since the system’s debut. Unlike incremental feature updates common in the industry, this upgrade rebuilds the underlying logic by integrating world models and reinforcement learning, centered on the capability of "seamless point-to-point navigation with all-round collision prevention". It sets a new benchmark for single-stack end-to-end systems, proving that the performance ceiling of mass-production ADAS can still be pushed higher.

The update covers six major dimensions, adding 18 new functions and optimizing 25 experience details, lifting both functional coverage and daily smoothness. According to the rollout plan, HSD V2.0 will soon be pushed to partner automakers. The iCAR V27 will be among the first models to receive the upgrade, with OTA delivery to owners starting in batches on June 30. For end users, the most noticeable improvement will be more natural and confident ADAS performance on highways and in urban areas, with fewer unexpected scenarios requiring manual takeover.
