Chery Zongheng F700 Unveiled with 1,300km PHEV Range
Chery’s Zongheng brand released official images of the Zongheng F700 on June 23. Positioned as a rugged off-road pickup built for outdoor use and multi-scenario practicality, it carries over the boxy, tough design language of the G700 at the front. The side profile features a semi-floating roof and mechanical door handles, blending ruggedness with subtle refinement. At the rear, a black piano-finish tailgate panel integrates with the taillights for a premium look, while two-step rear footrests and an extra side step behind the rear wheel improve access and cargo convenience.

The model’s core highlight is its powertrain: it uses the Kunpeng Super Hybrid CDM-O plug-in hybrid system, delivering a combined range of 1,300 km to eliminate range anxiety for hard-core pickups. Its chassis is fitted with double-wishbone independent suspension to balance off-road stability and daily ride comfort. As a new addition to Chery Zongheng’s pickup portfolio, the F700 fills a gap in the brand’s off-road pickup lineup and brings a new PHEV option to the segment, ideal for off-road enthusiasts mindful of running costs.
