Momenta has officially obtained intelligent connected vehicle road testing and demonstration permits in Wuxi, and has already been conducting tests in the city since January this year. The autonomous driving company announced plans to deploy its high-level autonomous driving technology in multiple new cities and regions worldwide throughout 2026, expanding its global footprint.

Technologically, Momenta’s R7 Reinforcement Learning World Model, released earlier this year, is now powering its L4 autonomous driving systems. The model enhances perception of the physical world, understanding object properties, motion causality, and potential interactions to improve decision-making, lane changing, and narrow-space navigation capabilities. Momenta has partnered with global leaders including Uber and Mercedes-Benz, with its Robotaxi service already operating in Shanghai, Munich, Abu Dhabi, and other cities.
