BYD officially released images of the Dolphin G DM-i on May 27, a plug-in hybrid model exclusively designed for the European market, not a direct copy of the domestic Dolphin. It features an all-new design language with sharper body lines, a black C-pillar creating a floating roof effect, dynamic black alloy wheels and semi-flush door handles, aligning with European consumer aesthetics.

Powered by BYD’s proven DM hybrid system, it delivers over 100km of pure electric range and a comprehensive range of 1,000km, eliminating range anxiety for European users. The model will make its official European debut in June, with deliveries commencing gradually this autumn, further expanding BYD’s new energy product lineup in the region.
