Recently, Dongfeng Motor, together with Yangtze River Industrial Investment Group, Wuhan Financial Holdings Group, Wuhan Economic Development Zone Industrial Investment Group, Stellantis Group and Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën Automobile (DPCA), signed a strategic cooperation agreement under the theme "New Joint Venture, New Leap". The total investment of the cooperation exceeds 8 billion yuan, focusing on empowering new energy and intelligent connected technology innovation, and promoting DPCA’s transformation towards intelligence, internationalization and green development.

This signing is a milestone in Sino-foreign automotive cooperation since the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan and a key step in Dongfeng’s advancement of its "Oriental Rise 2030" plan. Both parties will leverage their respective advantages in brands, technology and global markets, combined with Hubei’s complete automotive industry chain, to accelerate DPCA’s transformation and deliver better intelligent electric products to global users.
