BYD Launches DiLink Smart Car Radio with Offline Intercom & Full Points Payment
On May 19, BYD officially launched its DiLink-compatible smart car radio, priced at 3,899 yuan. It is now available on the Fangchengbao Mall within the BYD App and supports full points redemption for purchase. The initial launch only supports the Fangchengbao Bao 5 and Bao 8 models. Adaptation for other BYD models is in progress and will be gradually rolled out via over-the-air (OTA) updates, requiring no additional hardware modifications for owners.

The most practical highlight of this car radio is its built-in independent radio communication system, which completely solves the problem of call failures in remote mountainous areas, uninhabited zones and other signal blind spots. It supports offline communication up to 20 kilometers in open grassland environments and 16 customizable channels, allowing owners to independently manage contacts and receiving groups. For driving safety, it supports voice commands and steering wheel button controls for calls. The car’s central display can show all statuses in one screen, with one-touch talk, SOS emergency rescue and other essential functions included.
