Xiaomi Auto to Launch 2nd Brand SKYNOMAD for Range-Extended SUVs
Recently, news that Xiaomi Auto is set to launch its second automotive brand has sparked widespread discussion. The new brand bears the English name SKYNOMAD, with the proposed Chinese name Xuntian, positioned slightly below Xiaomi’s flagship brand and focused primarily on the range-extended family SUV market. There have long been clues: Xiaomi previously registered trademarks for both "SKYNOMAD" and "Xuntian", creating a clear differentiated positioning from the flagship Xiaomi brand, which focuses on pure electric high-performance sports vehicles, to accurately cover different consumer groups.

Meanwhile, numerous auto bloggers have released road test spy shots of a suspected Xiaomi’s first range-extended full-size SUV, which also indirectly confirms the progress of the new brand. According to the currently exposed product plan, the Xuntian brand will launch two product lines: the Kunlun series, the core volume driver focused on range-extended family SUVs, and the Man Island series of pop-top camper vans, fully covering both daily family use and outdoor travel scenarios, in an apparent bid to fully capture the family SUV market.
