On November 25th, the new testing workshop of Volkswagen Group China Technology Company (VCTC) in Hefei was put into use, marking the completion of the core expansion project and further upgrading the group's R&D system in China. As Volkswagen's first overseas end-to-end R&D and testing base, this center covers the entire link of R&D verification, compliance approval, and mass production implementation for new vehicle platforms and key technologies.

Covering an area of approximately 100,000 square meters, the new testing workshop is equipped with over 100 advanced laboratories. It integrates functions such as software and hardware integration, battery and powertrain testing, and vehicle verification, providing one-stop R&D and testing services. This signifies that Volkswagen has built a complete end-to-end R&D system in China.
