BMW New 7 Series Makes Global Debut Ahead of Beijing Auto Show with Major Interior Upgrade
At the BMW Brand Night on the eve of the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, the mid-life facelift BMW 7 Series made its global debut. The new car retains the flagship design language of the current model, featuring the iconic large kidney grille and split headlights. The slim upper LED daytime running lights deliver high recognizability, while the new crystal daytime running lights integrate 24 individually dynamically lit crystals, creating a more vivid light and shadow effect on the front face. The through-type waistline stretches the visual length of the body, and the tough C-pillar lines exude a sense of power; the rear is equipped with a small spoiler, and the smoked flat taillights paired with a diffuser-style lower bumper balance luxury and sportiness.

The core highlights of this facelift focus on the interior and intelligent driving. The new car is the first to be equipped with the all-new iDrive X infotainment system, paired with a large central control touch screen, greatly enhancing the sense of technology. Meanwhile, BMW’s iconic Panoramic Vision Display will also be available, creating an immersive interactive experience. In terms of intelligent driving, the new car carries the L2-level Navigation Driving Assistance System co-developed with Momenta, tailored for China’s complex traffic environment, enabling end-to-end assistance in urban, highway and parking scenarios, available nationwide.
