Geely Auto has officially revealed its next-generation hybrid technology trump card—the i-HEV Smart Hybrid system, which will be comprehensively equipped across the main selling models of its China Star series in the future. The most groundbreaking feature is that it’s the world’s first hybrid system to integrate the Xingrui AI Cloud Power 2.0 large model. Combined with the GEEA 3.0 electronic and electrical architecture and AI digital chassis, it not only improves overall vehicle energy efficiency by over 10% but also significantly optimizes handling and intelligent experience.

On the hardware front, the system is equally impressive. Geely’s self-developed hybrid-specific engine achieves a thermal efficiency of 48.4%, with a comprehensive fuel consumption of just 2.22L per 100km under WLTC conditions. Real-world testing of the Xingrui i-HEV recorded a fuel consumption of only 2.58L/100km. The electric drive delivers a maximum power of 230kW, 1.72 times higher than traditional oil-electric hybrids, enabling 0-30km/h acceleration in just 1.84 seconds. Additionally, the engine operates 27% less frequently than in conventional hybrid systems, achieving both fuel efficiency and strong performance.
