The all-new Mercedes-AMG four-door G63 Convertible is scheduled to launch in 2028. Retaining the iconic G‑Class boxy silhouette, it features a Landaulet-style profile with a roof stretching to the rear, much longer than the previous generation G‑Class convertible, and is highly likely to include rear doors.

Set to enter production in the third quarter of 2027 at Mercedes’ Graz plant in Austria, the model will be powered by a 4.0‑liter twin‑turbo V8 mild hybrid engine, delivering an expected 577 horsepower, with rugged off‑road performance preserved.
