Recently, GAC Group officially announced a major move in the reform of its independent business segment: it has completed strategic integration and upgrading of its core powertrain business, and formally set up an independently operated Powertrain Business Unit (BU). This marks another key step in GAC’s independent business reform, following the successful establishment and efficient operation of the Hyper Aion BU and Trumpchi BU.

This proactively promoted strategic integration brings together all previously scattered core links across R&D, manufacturing, supply and sales. As GAC Group’s first component-level business unit with integrated operation, the new Powertrain BU will leverage its accumulated achievements in hybrid, engine, range extender and other technical routes. Focused on diversified powertrain products, core technological innovation and system solutions, it will continuously drive the upgrading and breakthrough of core powertrain technologies with a clearer reform path, more solid technical foundation and more agile collaboration system.
