NIO Firefly Right-Hand Drive Model Mass-Produced, Delivery in Singapore Imminent
On November 19th, NIO announced that the right-hand drive model of its entry-level brand Firefly has officially entered mass production. The first batch of vehicles will be shipped to the Singapore market, marking substantial progress in NIO's layout in the right-hand drive market. The mass-produced Firefly model is built based on NIO's NT2.0 platform and has been adaptively optimized specifically for the road conditions and user habits in the Southeast Asian market, which is an important step in the brand's global strategy.

As a representative of the high-end automotive market in Southeast Asia, Singapore has become the first landing place for NIO's right-hand drive models. The brand plans to introduce the model to markets such as Australia and New Zealand in the future. To support vehicle delivery, NIO has built its first battery swap station in Singapore and expects to deploy more than 50 battery swap stations in Southeast Asia by the end of 2026. The mass production of this right-hand drive model not only enriches NIO's global product matrix but also provides a reference technical adaptation plan for Chinese automakers to explore the right-hand drive market.
