Firefly, the premium smart electric compact car brand under NIO, officially announced its entry into the Thai market recently. Up to now, Firefly has entered 10 countries worldwide and will gradually expand into nearly 40 markets in Europe, America and Southeast Asia.

After the debut of the right-hand drive version of Firefly at the 2025 Guangzhou Auto Show in November, the first user deliveries were completed in Singapore. This entry into Thailand marks Firefly's second right-hand drive market in Southeast Asia and also signals the continuous acceleration of the brand's global layout.

Thailand, as an important right-hand drive auto market in Southeast Asia, has witnessed a rapid growth in demand for electric vehicles in recent years with its continuous release of consumption potential, providing broad development space for premium smart electric vehicle brands. To further deepen its presence in the Thai market, Firefly has selected Thonburi BlueSky Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Thailand's leading automotive group Thonburi Group, as its general distributor in Thailand.
