Audi Revolut F1 Team Makes Official Debut, First Race on March 8
Audi has marked a historic moment as its Audi Revolut F1 Team made its official debut in Berlin on Tuesday evening (Central European Time). Nearly 400 guests gathered at the Kraftwerk venue in the heart of the German capital to witness this milestone launch of Audi's factory F1 team.

Gernot Dö llner, Audi's global CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of Audi Motorsport GmbH, stated: "Today, many key pieces of this grand puzzle have finally come together. It is inspiring to see the fruitful progress of the team's intense preparations and the growing excellence of all participants – this is the first time the project has fully demonstrated its strength. We are ready and enthusiastic to ignite the passion of motorsport fans worldwide through our participation in Formula 1." Audi will embark on its maiden F1 journey at the Australian Grand Prix on March 8. The Audi R26 is powered by an in-house developed power unit, the AFR 26 Hybrid, from the Neuburg an der Donau facility. This power unit was first fired up at the Hinwil plant in Switzerland just before Christmas and has since been successfully integrated into the chassis. On January 9, the team completed its first track run at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain as part of the official filming day.
