As the second model under the Neue Klasse series, the next-generation i3 features a distinctly different front fascia from the new iX3. It adopts a newly designed double kidney grille seamlessly integrated with LED light clusters, a design first seen on the 2023 Vision Neue Klasse concept car. In terms of power, the new i3 shares the same underpinnings as the iX3, coming standard with an 800V architecture and BMW's sixth-generation eDrive technology. The 50 xDrive model will be equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering a combined output of 469 hp and a driving range of over 644 kilometers. An M series variant is also in the pipeline for a later launch.
