Mercedes-Benz Signs Upgraded MOU with Momenta to Deepen Cooperation in Future Mobility
Mercedes-Benz China and Momenta signed an upgraded Memorandum of Understanding in Beijing to further deepen their cooperation in the field of future mobility. On the same day, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, accompanied by Ola Källenius, Chairman of the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, test-drove the new generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan in Beijing, personally experiencing the advanced driver assistance system and speaking highly of it.

Mercedes-Benz has laid out its smart driving layout with a forward-looking vision and became the first international automaker to invest in Momenta as early as 2017, continuously consolidating this partnership through multiple rounds of investment. Combining Mercedes-Benz's stringent "Mercedes Standards" with Momenta's advantages in artificial intelligence algorithms, the two sides are jointly driving R&D and innovation at "China speed". At present, the intelligent driver assistance system co-developed by the two sides can cover highway, urban and parking scenarios, realizing door-to-door intelligent driving assistance functions. The pioneering "human-machine co-driving" concept delivers a smoother lane-changing experience, enabling easy driving without sudden steering wheel interventions. This system has been first equipped on the all-new Mercedes-Benz electric CLA and will be rolled out on 9 new Mercedes-Benz models to be launched within this year, including the electric long-wheelbase GLC SUV and the new generation S-Class sedan, covering all market segments.
