BYD has recently released the official interior images of the RACCO, a new car specially built for the Japanese market with the popular K-Car design in Japan. It is expected to go on sale in the Japanese market in the summer of 2026. The new car features a four-door layout with sliding rear doors and a floating roof, boasting a sleek and modern look. In terms of dimensions, it complies with Japan's kei car regulations, measuring 3,395 mm in length, 1,475 mm in width and 1,800 mm in height, with a seating capacity of four people.

The interior adopts a minimalist design, featuring a classic three-spoke steering wheel paired with a large floating central control screen. Due to its compact size, the driver and front passenger seats feature a through design, with the gear shifter located on the center console. Additionally, physical buttons are retained at the air conditioning vents, and red decorative elements are added on the passenger side for an enhanced look. For power, the new car will be front-wheel drive, equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery and BYD's latest three-electric core technologies.
