All-New Lexus ES to Launch in April; Shanghai Plant to Complete in H2
According to recent reports, the all-new Lexus ES will hit the market in April. Lexus' Shanghai plant is scheduled to be completed in the second half of this year, and the new model is expected to make its debut in 2027. Continuing the brand's sleek and dynamic profile, the all-new ES boasts a low-slung visual stance. Compared to the previous generation, its body length has increased by 165mm, and the wheelbase has been extended by 80mm.

The cockpit of the new ES adheres to the "Time is Luxury" concept, integrating Lexus' design philosophy of "the Art of Time." It features an elegant light green primary color scheme, with a dual-screen setup (central control and passenger-side displays) on the dashboard and an electronic gear shifter in the center, showcasing an innovative design concept. For power, the new ES will offer the ES 300h with a hybrid powertrain, as well as pure electric variants including the ES 350e and ES 500e. Based on the newly developed GA-K platform, the ES 350e and ES 500e are equipped with large-capacity batteries, while the ES 500e comes with the DIRECT4 intelligent all-wheel drive system.
