Recently, the BMW Group announced a management personnel adjustment in Greater China. Starting from April 1, 2026, Christian Ach will succeed Gao Xiang as President and CEO of BMW Group Greater China, and Gao Xiang will conclude his more than ten-year management tenure in China. After taking over this key position, Christian Ach will be fully responsible for the BMW Group's business in Greater China, including coordinating affairs related to joint ventures in China. He has rich sales experience in multiple important markets of the BMW Group and a profound understanding of customer-centric business development and organizational transformation.

Since joining the BMW Group in 1998, Christian Ach has held a number of important management positions in the group's sales system. From 2010 to 2018, he was in charge of the BMW Group's MINI brand business in the German market. From 2018 to 2021, he served as the sales director of the BMW Group in the German market.
