Earlier, WM Motor had sent positive signals through its official Weibo account, posting a teaser image of the new vehicle with the caption “Good things are coming, stay tuned.” The phrase on the image, “What is deeply remembered will inevitably echo,” has further fueled market speculation about the brand’s comeback.

Tracing back to September 6, WM Motor issued an update on its restructuring progress. According to the reorganization plan approved by the court on April 3, 2025, Shenzhen Xiangfei Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. has completed the takeover of four WM Motor affiliated companies. At that time, it was explicitly stated that efforts would be fully directed toward resuming mass production of the EX5 and E5 models at the Wenzhou facility, laying the groundwork for the upcoming press conference.
