Musk: Tesla\'s FSD Could Get China Approval as Early as February
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, stated that the Driver-Assisted Full Self-Driving (FSD) system may receive regulatory approval from European and Chinese authorities as early as next month. Amid slowing auto sales, Tesla is seeking to drive growth by boosting software revenue.

Musk also revealed that Tesla has launched autonomous taxi services in Austin, Texas, without safety supervisors. The service was initially launched in June last year with a Tesla employee seated in the passenger seat to monitor the vehicle's operation. On Thursday, Musk said he expects the number of robots to exceed that of humans in the future. Tesla plans to sell its humanoid robot Optimus to the public by the end of next year, a timeline later than his previous forecast.
