Recently, Pony.ai brought exciting news: it has officially obtained the fully autonomous driving test license issued by the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), becoming the first and currently the only platform approved to conduct such tests in Dubai. This marks that its autonomous driving technology has gained international authoritative recognition. According to the plan, Pony.ai will continue to increase investment in the Dubai market, and the scale of the local fully autonomous driving fleet will be gradually expanded to more than 1,000 units, completing the testing and operation layout in different scenarios in phases.

On the same day, Pony.ai's first overseas integrated operation base for autonomous driving was officially put into use in Dubai. This "intelligent hub" integrates core functions such as daily vehicle operation, maintenance and upgrading, safety control, and personnel training, equipped with a professional technical team and complete facilities. As the first base in the Middle East capable of supporting the large-scale operation of fully autonomous fleets, it provides full-chain support for the testing work.
