Recently, FAW Hongqi officially announced that on December 31, the first prototype vehicle equipped with the independently developed all-solid-state battery pack by the Research and Development General Institute rolled off the production line. This marks that Hongqi's R&D in the field of all-solid-state battery technology has officially entered a new phase of real-vehicle testing.

FAW Hongqi stated that the successful roll-off of the first prototype is the result of the Research and Development General Institute's continuous dedication to cutting-edge technologies and 470 days of intensive research. It has achieved a series of phased breakthroughs in key areas such as sulfide electrolytes, 10Ah cell performance, and 60Ah cell manufacturing processes. It also signifies important breakthroughs in core fields including high-voltage-resistant module packaging and system lightweight integration, laying a solid technical foundation for subsequent large-scale mass production.
