BYD & Denza Deliver 20,000 New Energy Vehicles in Hong Kong, Denza D9 Leads MPV Market
BYD and Denza have achieved a significant milestone in the Hong Kong market with the successful delivery of their 20,000th new energy vehicle. TVB Best Actor Moses Chan and his wife Aimee Chan became the owners of this Denza model, sharing their reasons for choosing Denza at the scene and praising its combination of environmental friendliness and luxury texture. As a benchmark model in the new energy MPV segment, the Denza D9 continues to lead the market with its outstanding product strength. Data shows that from January to November 2025, it accumulated sales of 84,549 units, winning the championship of China's MPV sales. In just three years, it became the world's first new energy MPV to reach 300,000 sales, setting a new record for industry growth rate.

In overseas markets, the Denza D9 topped the luxury MPV sales rankings in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and other countries in the first half of 2025, thanks to its comfortable riding space, advanced intelligent configurations and reliable quality. In the Singapore market, its starting price is about 1.606 million RMB, far exceeding that of the Alphard, successfully breaking the long-term monopoly of joint-venture brands and demonstrating the strong strength of China's high-end manufacturing. In the mainland market, Denza launched the "Denza D9 · Gratitude for 300,000+" year-end thanksgiving campaign. From now until December 31st, users who purchase and complete the delivery of the Denza D9 can receive a full discount on compulsory traffic insurance. This benefit covers all Denza D9 models with a subsidy cap of 4,000 units, which can directly save users thousands of RMB in expenses. The application for the benefit will be sorted by the time of sales reporting, on a first-come, first-served basis.
