Leapmotor D99 Officially Launched, Equipped with EREV/BEV Dual Powertrains and Smart Cockpit
On December 28th, Leapmotor's all-new MPV model D99 made its official debut, adopting a bullet-shaped design that is not only visually sleek and elegant but also optimizes aerodynamic performance to enhance driving range. The new car offers both EREV (Extended-Range Electric Vehicle) and BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) powertrain options to meet the travel needs of different users. The EREV version is the first in the industry to be equipped with a dual-energy motor four-wheel-drive system, paired with an 80.3 kWh large battery pack for range anxiety-free driving. The BEV model features a full-stack 1000V three-electric system and is equipped with CATL's 115 kWh super hybrid battery cells, boasting industry-leading charging efficiency and range performance.

The new car comes as standard with million-pixel DLP projection headlights, providing a wide illumination range and high clarity for safer night driving. It also offers five trendy body colors including Photoelectric White and Liquid Silver to cater to different aesthetic preferences. The 1.46-square-meter giant sunroof can block over 99.9% of ultraviolet rays, allowing passengers to enjoy a transparent view while being protected from sun exposure. The taillights are equipped with an ISD intelligent interactive light curtain that enhances communication during driving. In terms of intelligence, the D99 pioneers an integrated cockpit-chassis central domain controller, paired with an end-side large-model smart cockpit and dual 8797 chips. With an ultra-high computing power of 1280 TOPS and VLA large-model assisted driving, it delivers a convenient and safe intelligent experience for both daily commuting and long-distance travel.
