MG's European sales exceeded 50,000 units in 2021, making Europe its first overseas regional market with annual sales of over 100,000 units in 2022. It broke the 200,000-unit threshold in 2023 and reached the 300,000-unit milestone in 2025, representing a year-on-year increase of nearly 30%. Among them, the MG Hybrid+ family sold 137,000 units in 2025, a year-on-year surge of 300%; the MG pure electric family achieved sales of 46,000 units, maintaining steady market influence despite the severe challenge of anti-subsidy tariffs. To date, MG's cumulative historical sales in Italy, Spain, and France have all exceeded 100,000 units; in the UK, cumulative sales have surpassed 370,000 units, including over 100,000 pure electric vehicles.

In the first half of this year, SAIC officially released its Overseas Strategy 3.0 — the "Glocal Strategy" (a combination of "Global + Local"). SAIC will launch 17 new overseas models covering SUVs, sedans, MPVs, and pickups. Models equipped with the new HEV hybrid system will cover mainstream global market segments, and disruptive technologies such as solid-state batteries will also be put into practical application.
