BYD has successfully won an order for 210 electric buses from the Land Transport Authority (LTA) of Singapore, with a total contract value exceeding SGD105 million (approximately RMB575 million). Prior to this, BYD has operated over 300 buses locally, continuously supporting the green transformation of Singapore's public transportation.Singapore's public bus procurement standards are among the strictest globally in terms of technology, safety, and adaptability. As LTA's largest-ever electric bus procurement project, the winning BYD B12 series buses are equipped with core technologies such as CTC integrated chassis technology, Blade Battery, and high-power charging.

To adapt to the complex operating scenarios of Singapore's high-density urban roads, the models have undergone comprehensive rigorous verification and are equipped with advanced driver assistance systems to address potential risks.Centered on a full-access low-floor design, the B12 series optimizes both passenger comfort and operational efficiency. The double-decker B12DD features a single-step design with a step height ≤230mm and seat height ≤430mm, stricter than European standards, greatly enhancing commuting convenience. The single-decker B12SD breaks through traditional structural limitations with CTC technology, innovatively optimizing step height (seat height controlled at 420-430mm) to ensure comfort while maximizing passenger capacity.
