More Details of Volkswagen ID.Polo Revealed, to Launch in Spring 2026
Volkswagen has recently announced the range and core configurations of the all-new electric compact car, the ID.Polo. It is reported that the new car has a WLTP range of 450km and supports 130kW DC fast charging. With a starting price of 25,000 euros (equivalent to approximately 206,900 RMB), it will be launched in spring 2026. Volkswagen believes that the all-electric ID.Polo comprehensively surpasses previous generations of Polo in terms of space and practicality, making it suitable for both urban commuting and daily driving needs.

In terms of power, the ID.Polo will offer three versions: 85kW, 99kW, and 155kW. The sport-oriented GTI variant will be launched later in 2026 with a power output of 166kW. The low-power version is equipped with a 37kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, while the high-power version uses a 52kWh ternary lithium battery, delivering a maximum WLTP range of 450km and supporting 130kW DC fast charging.
