Audi has globally unveiled its new all‑electric model, the A2 e‑tron. Pre‑orders will open on September 10, with the first batch of deliveries scheduled for December. In Germany, it starts at 38,200 euros, equivalent to roughly 298,000 RMB. Targeting the mainstream family premium EV segment, the new model is well‑positioned to meet mass‑market consumer demands.

Range and charging stand out as its key strengths. The high‑power 170 kW variant fitted with an 84 kWh ternary‑battery pack delivers a WLTP range of up to 646 km. It supports a peak DC fast‑charging rate of 183 kW, charging from 10 % to 80 % in just 29 minutes under ideal conditions. Moreover, bidirectional charging comes as standard, supporting both V2L external discharge and V2H home energy storage, catering to scenarios ranging from camping to household emergency power supply.
