BYD Battery has signed a strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding with Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, to carry out all-round green city cooperation and support the city’s new energy upgrade and low-carbon development. The partnership deeply integrates Ulaanbaatar’s urban development needs with BYD Battery’s full industrial chain advantages in new energy, and focuses on key areas including green mobility, new energy infrastructure and smart energy storage. 

The two sides have defined four core cooperation directions: first, scaling up electric vehicle adoption to optimize urban mobility and cut emissions; second, building a city-wide fast-charging network to improve supporting infrastructure; third, deploying battery energy storage systems (BESS) to optimize energy structure and grid stability; fourth, launching the “Sky Shuttle” smart public transport system to upgrade urban transit services.
