Insiders at NIO recently disclosed the ES9 is poised to reach its 20,000th delivery this week—a remarkable milestone for a premium full-size SUV that outperformed industry expectations. Adopting the brand’s latest family Shark Nose front fascia, the vehicle stretches over 5.3 meters long with a 3,250-millimeter wheelbase, delivering generous interior space.

Its wraparound cockpit paired with a panoramic skyline screen balances futuristic tech and recognizable NIO design cues. A 15.6-inch AMOLED central control panel runs the TianShu vehicle operating system and Cedar intelligent cockpit suite. Performance is anchored by a 900V high-voltage architecture and dual motors generating a combined 520 kilowatts of output, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 4.3 seconds. Equipped with in-house developed six-piston brake calipers, it achieves a 35.3-meter 100–0 km/h braking distance, placing its power and stopping performance among the industry’s top tier.
