At the 2026 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) in July, Leapmotor officially showcased its two global models, the B10 and C10, and announced its formal entry into the Indonesian market. On the same day, Leapmotor and Indonesia’s Indomobil Group jointly announced the launch of localized knock-down (KD) assembly production in the country. This is a key step in Leapmotor’s globalization layout. As a core region for Chinese automakers’ overseas expansion, Southeast Asia allows localized production to effectively control costs and adapt to local market rules faster.

The two global strategic models on display fully embody Leapmotor’s core advantage of “full-domain in-house R&D”: independently developed core components account for over 65% of the total vehicle cost, covering electric drive systems, battery systems, smart cockpits and electronic and electrical architectures. This high level of vertical integration enables Leapmotor to optimize costs across the entire chain from design to production, as well as accelerate technology iteration, which forms the core foundation for its accelerated globalization push.
