On July 21, Momenta announced that its Robotaxi has officially obtained a road testing permit for intelligent connected vehicles in Shenzhen, with on-road testing set to begin soon. With the addition of Shenzhen, Momenta Robotaxi now operates test fleets in Chinese cities including Shanghai, Suzhou and Wuxi, as well as international locations such as Munich, Germany and Abu Dhabi, UAE, marking rapid progress in its global deployment.

Driving this rapid expansion is the R7 World Model, which entered mass production this April. Built on over 12 billion kilometers of driving data and 100 million high-value scenario segments accumulated from its mass-production business, the R7 World Model leverages pre-training, closed-loop simulation and reinforcement learning to outperform human drivers in complex traffic negotiations, narrow-space maneuvering and extreme rare scenarios. Backed by strategic partnerships with global leaders including SAIC Xiangdao, Mercedes-Benz and Uber, Momenta is set to accelerate the rollout of high-level autonomous driving across more regions this year.
