Recently, Dongfeng Motor officially announced that its independently developed new Mach 1.5T hybrid engine has won the "Energy Efficiency Star" certification with a maximum effective thermal efficiency of 48.09%, becoming the first hybrid gasoline engine in the industry to break the 48% thermal efficiency threshold.

The engine adopts an innovative combustion method, combined with innovative designs such as a high compression ratio of over 15.5, a high-energy ignition system and a 500bar injection system, making fuel combustion more rapid and sufficient. Thanks to the optimization of core components like hybrid-specific VGT, valve seat ring-free design and electric VVT, it achieves smooth air intake across the entire speed range. With more than 10 technologies including integrated motor oil pump and cylinder bore thermal spraying, it significantly reduces mechanical losses.
