SAIC Motor’s Zhengzhou manufacturing base hit a major production milestone with its 3 millionth vehicle rolling off the line—the MG 07, MG’s first all-electric coupe, officially entering mass production. Built on SAIC’s next-generation dedicated EV platform, the MG 07 is priced between 150,000 and 200,000 RMB, featuring a low-slung wide-body fastback silhouette echoing premium sport coupe aesthetics. It will debut with the MOMENTA R7 world model and LiDAR hardware, enabling urban NOA high-level intelligent driving functionality.

As SAIC’s core manufacturing, data and export hub, the Zhengzhou plant boasts cutting-edge smart production capabilities: the body shop of Vehicle Plant 2 achieves over 99% automation with coordinated robotic workflows, while the general assembly line rolls out one finished vehicle every 51 seconds on average. The on-site EV battery factory runs on an AI intelligent control system that optimizes cell handling safety and production efficiency, laying groundwork for rapid MG 07 capacity ramp-up and overseas export rollout.
